Menopause is a pivotal time in a woman’s life where her body is experiencing many changes, stresses and strains. Unfortunately there exist huge knowledge gaps in this area which are often filled with conflicting advice and evidence. I have trained in this area and work with many women to help make sense of this life stage and figure out strategies to manage and thrive.

I strongly believe in giving women who are experiencing symptoms of menopause or perimenopause the guidance and help they need to continue exercising and living an active life. My aim is to help ease symptoms so women feel more like ‘themselves’. Exercising during this time has many benefits including:

  • Helping aid a good night’s sleep
  • Improving bone density
  • Improving muscle mass
  • Helping with weight management
  • Improving mood
  • Increasing energy levels
  • Increasing self esteem
  • Decreasing back pain and other ‘niggles’ associated with midlife

Through a combination of light impact exercises, strength exercises, and breathing and core exercises we will work to manage symptoms so you feel stronger and more in control of your own body and mind.
